Styler Ells (they/them)
Styler Ells (they/them) opened Metamorphosis Fitness in response to an increasing dissatisfaction with bro gym culture. As a Personal Trainer, Health and Wellness Coach, Nutrition Coach and Powerlifting Coach, Styler focuses on creating safe and suatainable programming for a neurospicy queer world. Movement releases trauma, and MetaFit provides a safe space to explore that trauma. Styler specializes in working with folks who experience gender dysphoria and/or body dysmorphia.
In their spare time, Styler can be found on the animal rescue farm they run with their partner, Jax and two children. Growing organic produce using regenerative farming is their happy place, as is sititng on the deck with their two great pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, Freya and Gaia.
Liv Parvin (they/them)
Liv (they/them) has been a Personal Trainer for 6 years and an Embodiment Coach for 2 years. With a background in psychology, they approach fitness from a trauma-informed lens, incorporating embodiment practices such as breathwork and meditation to bring a holistic awareness to fitness programming. An anti-capitalist queer rebel, Liv prioritizes holding space for others to experience their bodies in a way that defies everything we've been told about how we are supposed to exist in the world. They specialize in queer and trans fitness, injury prevention and chronic pain management, programming to empower folx with autoimmune considerations, mobility and flexibility, and fitness education to make sure you feel both strong and empowered after each session. In their free time, Liv enjoys spending time with their two dogs at the park, running, reading, and hanging with their friends at local queer markets.
Ask them about: Astrology, religious trauma, being a military kid, coming out later in life, the best coffee shops in town.
Dylan Kohere (He/Him)
Hey there Y’all! My name is Dylan, my pronouns are he/him/his, and I have the privilege of being one of the coaches with Metamorphosis Fitness. I have been an active gym goer for the past 11 years and have a huge passion for helping to create spaces where queer folx can feel movement and confidence in their bodies without the stressors and toxic environment big box gyms often hold. Throughout my fitness journey I have personally seen and experienced many of these stressors of facing larger gym communities where people tend to ignore the nuances of being a queer trans person in fitness. My number one goal as a coach is to give our clients a diverse, judgment free workout space where we promote individual growth and meeting your body where it is every new day.
As a transmasculine individual who came out at the young age of 13, I didn’t have very much access or support to medically transition for the first 5 years of being out. Going to the gym and beginning to sculpt the foundation for a body I had very little control over at the time gave me tools to not only cope with my dysphoria, but to also cope with the mental health struggles I faced as a young queer person. Although I understand each individual’s method of coping with mental health differs, I get so much joy out of creating a space where people can explore new ways to face life’s challenges through feeling physicality in their bodies.
Not only am I a fitness coach, but I also work in LGBTQ+ rights and advocacy from accessible healthcare to legal representation. In my spare time when I’m not coaching or working my various other jobs, you can find me powerlifting, crafting, enjoying board games with my partner and friends, and giving my many animals lots and lots of love.
